Rose McGowan was indicted on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance by a grand jury in Loudoun County Virginia on Monday. Her trial date is expected to be determined sometime on Tuesday.

The actress is accused of leaving a wallet that tested positive for cocaine residue on a plane that landed at Dulles airport in January of 2017. She has repeatedly denied the allegations and said she thinks she may have been set up in retaliation for coming forward about her experience with Harvey Weinstein.

Her attorney Jose Baez told TMZ, "Rose steadfastly maintains her innocence. These charges would have never been brought if it weren't for her activism as a voice for women everywhere. I assure you, this selective prosecution will be met with a strong defense."
