Fresh's own Britt Waters hosted PBS' A Capitol Fourth pre-show and had the opportunity to ask John Stamos about fatherhood, Andy Grammer about his love for D.C., and the Georgetown Cupcake founders about making the perfect cupcake.

Sporting a Jonas Brothers t-shirt for rehearsal, the "Full House" star shared his excitement to host the Fourth of July event, saying PBS is "comfort food" to him.

Stamos, 54, is a new dad to his nearly 3-month-old son William “Billy” Christopher.

When Britt asked him how fatherhood has suprised him, he said, "It's more tiring. I realize how fragile everything is...Now, I really want to make this a great place for my son to grow up."

Britt also chatted with Fresh favorite Andy Grammer. Turns out, the singer is a big fan of D.C.'s poetry scene!

And what's the Fourth of July without red, white and blue treats?

Sisters Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne are the co-founders of Georgetown Cupcake and stars of "Cupcake Cam LIVE" and "DC Cupcakes on TLC."
