Jen Richer is the thrill-seeking, NoVa-loving, accident-prone on-air personality and executive producer for The Tommy Show. When she’s not racking up frequent flier miles for that next big adventure, she and her best friends are wreaking havoc around the Beltway.
While D.C. has been her playground for almost a decade, she, like most Washingtonians, is a transplant. Hailing from San Diego, she knows how to surf (kinda), and she claims to be a die hard San Diego Chargers fan, although she’d be pressed to tell you any of the players’ names.
Jen was lured from the left coast to study wonk-o-nomics (International Affairs) at The George Washington University. Hoping to buy one and get two free, she piled on an Art History degree and a minor in sorority girl games with Sigma Kappa.
Jen started her career as web newsbabe for 630 WMAL News here in D.C., and digital sparkplug and social media guru for Citadel Communications, the parent company for both WMAL and Mix 107.3, where she worked closely with Tommy for more than four years.
So it was no stretch when Tommy asked her to pack up her monster rolodex, flip cam, and reality TV obsession to join The Tommy Show in the mornings.
