Simple Plan gave their thoughts on everything from how to combat bullying to which Sesame Street character would make the best president in a Fresh TV interview Monday.

Ahead of their performance at DC Lottery Live, the band answered five questions from Darik Kristofer.

When asked what the best part of being a rock star is, answers included free guitars and equipment, the fans, and hot girlfriends.

The French-Canadian band also told Darik their favorite swear words, like “tabernacle” in French, a religious word commonly used as profanity in Quebec.

Happily for fans, Simple Plan was game to perform a number of old hits as well as their latest single, “Singing in the Rain,” from their new album “Taking One for the Team.”
