Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey is back. If you missed the circus when it was here a few weeks ago at the Verizon Center, now’s your chance to see it. Ringling Bros. are kicking off “Built to Amaze” with clowns, acrobats, and animals tonight at the Patriot Center. The show will run until Saturday.

The District’s very own famous chef Spike Mendelson, known for Top Chef and his restaurants We the Pizza and Good Stuff Eatery, is now taking a shot at Vietnamese food. Mendelson will be leading cooking classes at the Hill Center located at the Old Naval Hospital on April 19. The two-and-a-half hour class will start a 11 a.m. and costs $85.

And finally, Wednesday means warm and fuzzy. Get ready to shop for a good cause. Thirty local shops and restaurants in Old Town Alexandria are participating in “Spring 2 Action,” Alexandria’s biggest day of giving. Just mention “Spring 2 Action” and 20% of your purchase will go to any school or charity of your choice.
