Best Covers of ‘Frozen’s Hit Song ‘Let It Go’

It’s taken the world by storm: the multitude of people covering the hit song from one of the most successful Disney films ever created.  When Frozen was released, its major theme “Let It Go” was soon the center of every artist, musician and parent in the world.  While the original is performed by Idina Menzel, she has some major shoes to fill against these great covers and lip dubs of the song.

So far, the movie has brought in $1 billion in worldwide box office sales and the DVD release broke records.

1. Korean Lip Dub

This Korean comedian pulled out all the stops to create a spot-on recreation of the song.  The video compares his rendition, in full Elsa garb and snow, as it goes scene-for-scene with the original.

2.  Disney & Pixar Sings “Let It Go”

This guy covers the song using the voices of more than 20 famous character voices from Disney and Pixar films including Jack Sparrow, Scar from The Lion King, Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse.

3.  Alex Boyé ft. the One Voice Children’s Choir

Prepare to be completely floored by an 11-year-old singer.  Teaming up with African singer Alex Boyé, the One Voice Children’s Choir created a music video that will shock you.  Singing the part exactly like Idina Menzel, it’s easy to see that this girl is going places.

4. Demi Lovato

Adding a more uptempo version of the song, Demi Lovato recorded her own version and music video for the song.

5.  “Let It Go/ Let Her Go” by Sam Tsui

Not to leave out the guys, here is Sam Tsui’s cover of the song including a mashup of the popular hit, Passenger’s “Let Her Go.”  They mesh so perfect together that we will probably be singing “Let It Go” every time we hear Passenger on Fresh.
