ABC’s Good Morning America” issued a call for high school students to submit their own rendition of Katy Perry’s “Roar” for a chance to win a special performance from the superstar.

All across the country, hundreds of high schools from across the nation sent in videos, excited for their chance at the prize.

Walt Whitman in Bethesda has submitted, and take a look at their submission above.

“That drive is what led us to become the number one fundraising school in the nation during the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s High School Challenge last year, showing just one way our school can work together to make a difference,” the school said. ”

“In a five-day long, entirely student-run project featuring a sea of talented and spirited students, we’ve captured how Whitman roars.”
