Not only are musicians hard at work touring, writing songs, and recording, they are also hard at work participating in charities as well. Here’s a couple of charities some of our Fresh-FM artists are involved in.

David Cook is a very supportive to finding a cure for cancer. He participates in various cancer foundations and some of them are: Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation, David Wright Foundation and Stand Up to Cancer.

Katy Perry recently joined the VH1 Save the Music Foundation alongside other big artists like Ne-Yo and Kelly Clarkson. The non-profit organization was created to help keep instrumental music programs in schools in the U.S.

Lady Gaga participates in the MAC Aids Fund where the fund supports men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS around the world. Gaga’s line is called Viva Glam.

Taylor Swift participates in Feeding America. The foundation is organized to distribute food and grocery products nationwide to help with the hunger in America.

Justin Timberlake participates in the Stand Up 2 Cancer Foundation. The foundation’s initiative is to bring awareness and show how everyone is connected by cancer in hopes of finding a cure.

Lady Antebellum supports the American Red Cross. The group was heavily involved in finding aid after the disaster in Japan earlier this year.

Kelly Clarkson participates in the UNICEF which is dedicated to provide health, education, equality, and protection for children worldwide.

Maroon 5 supports Autism Speaks. The foundation funds the research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for autism; while also raising public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society; and bringing hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder.

Jason Mraz provides help to the Keep-a-Breast foundation. The foundation is dedicated to increase awareness about breast cancer among young people.

Black Eyed Peas participates in Green For All. The foundation is looking to help improve the lives of all Americans by creating a green economy.
